A Message from Pistachio (Pp) to Mommy and Daddy
Mommy and Daddy,
I was only a tiny green parrot, but you gave me a big and beautiful world. In our home I was never just a bird — I was your baby, and you were my whole family.
I loved sitting on your shoulders like a little captain and hopping onto your fingers where I felt safe. Sometimes I chose funny little thrones, sitting proudly on your phones and tablets so I could watch everything you were doing. From there I could see my whole world — Mommy, Daddy, and the warm home full of love.
You talked to me, smiled at me, and cared for me every day. Your voices, your hands, and your laughter were the most important things in my little life.
And sometimes, little feathers from my wings would fall. You picked them up carefully and kept them, like tiny treasures from our time together. Those feathers were small pieces of me, little memories of the days we shared — the days when I sat beside you, sang my little songs, and watched the world from my favorite places.
Even though my wings became tired one night, please know something important: my life was happy because of you. A tiny bird could not ask for better parents.
Now my wings are strong and free, and I can fly farther than ever before. I am not alone here — I am with the rest of our pet family, waiting peacefully.
But whenever you whisper my nickname — “Pp” — I still hear you.
And in my own little way, I answer back:
Thank you for loving me.
Thank you for being my Mommy and Daddy.
And thank you for giving a small parrot such a big, beautiful life.
And when you look at the little feathers you kept, remember — they are not just feathers.
They are small reminders that I was there with you, and that a part of me will always stay in your home and in your hearts.
